Everlasting Woods
Ted & Cyndi DeMers
Since I was a small child escaping into the forest was
everything . From the wonderment of the beauty , to the sounds
of the tranquility . I have always felt at ease in the forest and it
is with those feelings that I bring the shapes and beauty of the
forest into the everyday life of today's world . No one said it
better than George Naskashima in the book, Soul of a Tree
with the Japanese word kodama , meaning spirit of the tree . I
believe in bringing a second life to the material that I gather to
create my furniture . i have been blessed to be surrounded
with the abounded beauty of the forest around us . Our designs
are driven by the natural beauty of the material and the
Everlasting spirit of the tree . Each piece has its own story to
tell !!
